Norwegian Airlines Uses Brangelina Split In Genius Marketing Opportunity

One Man's Hell...

One Man's Hell...

The paint isn't yet dry on the colorful canvas of the Brangelina split, and already we're starting to see the demise of  the private lives of two of the biggest stars in the world, used to make people money.

But personally, I'm fine with it. Especially when it's this good!

Simple But Genius

Simple But Genius

Let's be honest, this whole Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie break-up is going to roll on and on, so there'll be plenty of ways to cash in on it.

But already, Norwegian Airlines has set the bench mark pretty high, with a simple but genius advertisement of flights to Los Angeles, only with the words "Brad is single".

Wide Coverage

Wide Coverage

Of course, many people have noticed and despite what must have been a pretty cheap and cost-effective advertisement to come up with, it sure is getting some online coverage.

Twitter is awash with posts featuring the ad.

Phase One And Two

Phase One And Two

After the initial shock we all felt of arguably the most famous pairing of high profile people in the world calling it quits, a part of the romantic side in all of us quickly died. We thought "If these two, with all their money, success, etc, can't make it, then what hope do the rest of us have?!"

That was phase one. Phase two was a billion memes concerning Jennifer Aniston...

Phase 3

Phase 3

Now, allow me to present phase 3.

We could feel sorry for this couple and afford them the privacy they (probably) deserve, however, we could also argue that talking, posting, and creating genius advertisements off the back of their demise is totally fine, if only given the fact that, if it weren't for all of us, they probably wouldn't be in a position to be splitting hundreds of millions of dollars.
