With planking seeming like a distant memory, and sometimes finding ourselves wondering if the ice bucket challenge ever really happened or if we imagined it, 2016 has been a year full of new "challenges", each more ridiculous than the last.

Perhaps the weirdest and most ridiculous is the "handrail challenge".

Basically, it involves fitting your body through spaces in a handrail. It sounds easy, right? Well, it turns out that this kid found a way to be really bad at it (by being to big for the space, I guess). Look at all the people who gathered. They'd be there to help him, right?

No, they've not there to help the idiot, they're there to get a selfie with him!

Part of me feels bad for this kid while another part of me thinks it's hilarious because it's not me!
