A Robotic Record

A Robotic Record

This particular scene looks like an eery post-war morgue for fallen robots, as their bodies lay out, ready for identifying before they are buried or recycled for parts.

But it's actually more like the opposite. They're about to come to life...

Smashing It!

Smashing It!

According to the folks at Guinness World Records, Ever Win Company & Ltd, attempted to break the records of most robots dancing simultaneously.

The previous mark was a respectable 540. But these guys absolutely smashed it!

60 Seconds Or It Doesn't Count

60 Seconds Or It Doesn't Count

The little fellas all needed to move in sync for at least 60 seconds for it to count.

And move, they did! All 1007 of them!

That folks, is a new world record!

If Your Robot Don't Dance

If Your Robot Don't Dance

There were a few more than 1007 who originally started, but a few fell over or simply refused to bust a move, which resulted in their disqualification.

Luckily though, those 1007 who were able to keep it up did a great job, and the record was forged anew!

Dancing Juice

Dancing Juice

Controlled using only one single mobile device, the world record attempt took place at Asia's answer to Oktoberfest; at the Qingdao Beer Festival in Shandong, China.

We can't think of a better place for it. It's just a shame that, while most of the robots knocked back a few glasses of dancing juice, some had a few too many and fell over.
