Teen Smashes Windshield Of US$250k McLaren And Runs Away

Different Modes Of Transport

Different Modes Of Transport

This little story is that of two people from (presumably) two completely different walks of life. And certainly two people who prefer different modes of transport.

A man driving a US$250,000 McLaren probably didn't expect this when he ran a stop sign in Colorado recently...

And He's Off!

And He's Off!

The mistake resulted in a skateboarder being knocked from his board. The driver, despite being in the wrong in terms of his traffic obligations, beeped the horn and swore at the skateboarder...

Then....the skater casually smashed the windshield of the sports car before running away as fast as possible.

Immaturity At Its Finest

Immaturity At Its Finest

This image shows a guy get from the passenger side of the vehicle and set off in pursuit of the youngster.

This is one of those situation where nobody really acted like the mature one...but we are secretly rooting for the skateboarder anyway, right?

Assessing The Damage

Assessing The Damage

The driver can be seen in the following video, quickly assessing the damage before realizing that he should probably get out of there - so he did, after leaning over and closing the passenger door.

Presumably, the passenger is still in pursuit, or perhaps hunched over a trash can short of breath.

Who Is In The Wrong?

Who Is In The Wrong?

Like we said, neither of those involved displayed a great amount of maturity, but who is actually at fault here?

“At this point they are both at fault,” the NY Daily News quoted Denver Police spokesman Eranda Tiyasena, as saying.

Thank God for smart phones...
