Of course, BASE jumping and wingsuit flying isn't going to be on the top ten list of sports you mommy wants you to take up as a kid.

It's a risky business. But you probably don't think that today will be the day. It was for this guy, and he just so happened to be live streaming it on Facebook.

As reported by The Sun, you can see 28-year-old Armin Schmieder (as he was known locally) in Switzerland, telling his online fans that “today you fly with me”.

Within minutes, he would be dead.

He seems to be in very good spirits and laughs as he prepares himself to jump from a mountain top near Kandersteg in Switzerland.

He live streams the lead-up, before placing the phone in his pocket when he makes the leap. Although you can't see anything but the inside of his pocket, you can most certainly make out the moment he knew he was going to die, as a forlorn yell is plainly audible.

The video has since been removed form Facebook, but you can see it here.

It's a few seconds after the 6:20 mark that the yell can be heard.

While the death could not be officially verified at the time, according to local media reports, police did confirm that an Italian man was found dead at the popular BASE jumping near Kandersteg.

Local outlet, Blick, quoted a friend of the man saying that “He was an experienced skydiver, but flew only a year with the wingsuit.”
