I love summer heat so I moved to Florida
Because it’s the beginning of the best seasons to come. For me it was also the sheer excitement of seeing everything coming back to life. The green grass, leaves appearing on trees again, longer daylight, warmer weather.
I would say the excitement began in elementary school. When spring arrives I knew that school would be soon coming to an end. That long three month vacation of the summer was right around the corner. The days of worrying about books, studying and being stuck at my desk for hours were drawing to an end.
The sun starts coming up earlier, birds are singing, the deafening silence is fading away as noise begins to travel more freely after the miserable snow melts.
Spring offered a variety of colors, sounds and warmth that made me appreciate warmer weather much more.
